Nordhavn 96' Lacey Kay

An International Yacht & Aviation Awards winner, the Nordhavn 96’ Lacey Kay boasts luxury, comfort, and the ability to travel the world. The owners, avid yachters and previous owners of the Nordhavn 76’ Eliana, were searching for a larger vessel that could host more friends and family. They envisioned more spacious interior and exterior entertaining areas and an upper deck owners' suite, while maintaining the style and feel of their previous boat. To achieve their vision, they went to Scott Cole of Ardeo Design, who designed the interior of Eliana.

Cole designed Lacey Kay’s contemporary yet casual interior spaces by combining walnut wood paneling with fabric-wrapped panels, juxtaposed with various stones for countertops, and tile floors with inset carpets. Polished stainless steel inlays are featured throughout the vessel, a nod to the owners’ experience in the metal industry. The result is a world-class luxury yacht of exceptional quality and capability that allows its owners and guests the highest level of comfort, no matter where the seas take them.

Entering from the main aft deck, the open salon, dining area, and galley layout invites guests to sit and relax in the richly upholstered custom sectional sofa with storage drawers, leather swivel chairs, and upholstered lounge chairs. After enjoying dinner at the custom wenge dining table, a motorized partition in the stone bar top between the dining area and galley can be raised to minimize sound during after-meal cleanup.

On the upper deck is the pilot house, a day head, and the owners’ suite, with the flybridge above. Designed as a social space, the flybridge features a spa with a granite top cocktail bar and bar stools, a custom teak dining table and arm chairs, and a curved settee with cocktail tables.

The owners’ stateroom has a private aft deck and features a king-size berth with storage for exercise equipment, and enough adjacent space for yoga or other exercise. Another full-beam guest stateroom is on the main deck, with three guest staterooms below on the lower deck, all with ensuite heads.

Lacey Kay is the winner of the 2017 International Yacht & Aviation Awards’ Power Yacht 25-40M category.
